It can’t replace a face to face lesson but is a perfect add on to deal with issues that have arisen from a previous face to face lesson, to freshen up your memory, to reduce travelling and costs and get questions answered in time for the next face to face lesson.
The restrictions are in respect to developing sound and tonal quality on the guitar, because the nuances will not be sufficiently audible over online platforms.
