The summer is usually a time where regular work slows down and a sense of vacation is in the air. In our case, our kids come to Lewes, East Sussex, for a visit. Over several weeks they come and go, 7 all together and often with grandchildren. This year there are 2 new additions to the family.
My second son, Bahrun, and I virtually spent one week in my recording studio. He is an excellent sound engineer and plays the guitar. I wanted him to record some of the music I play at weddings and ceremonial events and I needed him to help me with high quality recordings.
It was the first time we worked together and it was a really great experience. I always wanted to do that. It was very satisfying to see how he enjoys working with sound and it filled me with pride to experience his proficiency.
